Blue Series
Created in early 2023, the indigo series is rooted in the rich tradition of indigo dyeing found across Bali and surrounding Indonesian islands. Using pigments derived from the indigenous indigo plant (Indigofera tinctoria), each piece is built through intuitive, process-driven techniques like soaking, staining, and pouring. The Indigo Series explores the tension between control and surrender, while echoing the ancestral wisdom of dyeing practices that honour rhythm, patience, and impermanence.
